Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Children’s Wisconsin doctor discusses lead exposure in kids

Last week, Heather Paradis, MD, medical director of Children’s Wisconsin Community Services, participated in a Public Safety and Health Committee session at City Hall on the effects of lead exposure on Milwaukee’s children. Dr. Paradis pointed out that the number of children being hospitalized with severe lead poisoning in Milwaukee continues to increase and she stressed the importance of early testing.
