When a child needs specialized medical care, the last thing a family should have to worry about is a long drive. That’s why I'm incredibly proud of the opening of our new Children’s Wisconsin Ashwaubenon Clinic. This new location brings care closer to home for families in Northeast Wisconsin, providing easier access to the specialized care they may need.

For years, Children’s Wisconsin has cared for tens of thousands of kids from this region. Now, with this new clinic, we're taking a significant step forward and doing even more for kids. Located in the same building as the Emplify Health by Bellin Children & Adolescent Center at 2550 S. Ashland Ave., this new facility allows us to double the number of families Children’s Wisconsin serves in the region. 

Our vision at Children’s Wisconsin is for Wisconsin’s kids to be the healthiest in the nation. To achieve that, we know we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re proud to be a partner in Connected for Kids, a pediatric joint venture with Emplify Health by Bellin and ThedaCare. Through this partnership, we are improving the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents in Northeast and Central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The opening of this new location is a powerful example of what we can accomplish when we work together.

Our Ashwaubenon Clinic is more than just a new building — it’s a resource designed with your child’s health in mind. Children’s Wisconsin offers a variety of services at this location, including:

• Pediatric specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, urology, gastroenterology, diabetes, nephrology, hematology, surgical follow up care and neonatal developmental follow-up care.
  
  
• Physical, occupational and speech therapy.
  
  
• Dedicated child life services to help children and families cope with medical experiences.
  
  
• A sensory gym to serve kids with sensory needs and aid in their development.
  
  
• Dedicated language services to support Spanish-speaking families.
