About the Craig Yabuki Mental Health Center

At the Craig Yabuki Mental Health Center, we help kids from 6 months old through young adulthood. We're here for the whole family. Our experts can figure out what's wrong and treat many different mental health problems. You can get care at our clinics all over the state or through a video visit from home.

What Makes Us Special

Our center has been named a "clinical center" because we meet high standards for helping our patients, the quality of our care and our work in teaching, research and charity. This honor also recognizes a large donation we received from The Yabuki Family Foundation. We believe the Craig Yabuki Mental Health Center is setting a new standard for how children's mental health is checked, treated and made easier to get.

Our Promise to the Community

At Children's Wisconsin, we believe that a child's mental health is just as important as their physical health. As the largest pediatric health provider in the state, we know we have a special duty to help kids with their mental and behavioral health needs.

We already help thousands of kids every year in many places like our walk-in clinic, our regular doctor's offices, hospitals and schools. But even with all our work, kids in Wisconsin are facing a mental health crisis. There are high rates of anxiety, depression and suicide with not enough places for them to get help. Solving this problem will have a big, positive impact on kids' mental and physical health for the rest of their lives.

We're proud of what we've done so far, but we know there's more work to do. That's why we're using many different ways to help. We are focusing on finding problems early, making it easier to get care and making sure kids don't feel ashamed to get help. Through our Craig Yabuki Mental Health Center, we are creating a new and complete plan to help all the children in our state.
