Hands-on training: We provide a monthly Pediatric Ventilator Certification Course for home care nurses. Our patient and family training also helps parents and caregivers prepare to care for their child at home.
Local resources: We partner with home nurses, medical device companies and school staff. This helps kids return to their daily lives after tracheostomy surgery.
Sleep medicine. The Pulmonary Medicine Program includes Wisconsin's only pediatric sleep center accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. It is on of only 25 accredited centers in the country dedicated solely to children.

In conjunction with The Medical College of Wisconsin, providers at Children's Wisconsin are constantly conducting research to develop better treatments, enabling them to say on the cutting edge of the latest therapies.
