I care for children with a wide range of kidney conditions as a pediatric nephrologist. These conditions can range from kidney injuries caused by many different factors to advanced kidney disease that requires specialized treatment. Some children may need dialysis or a kidney transplant. Because kidney disease can affect a child's growth, development and overall well-being, I work closely with families to monitor these conditions and provide the care children need to help them reach their full potential.

My areas of expertise include acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, congenital abnormalities of the kidney and urinary tract, pediatric dialysis and pediatric kidney transplant. I also care for patients through the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Clinic, working alongside a team of specialists to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.

My interest in pediatrics began in medical school, where I saw firsthand how resilient children can be. It was inspiring to watch children recover from serious illnesses and eagerly return to the activities and people they love. That experience continues to motivate me to care for children and help give every patient the opportunity to live a full, healthy and happy life.

Originally from Chicago, I have spent my life throughout the Midwest. Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching sports. I also share my home with a black cat who, in my opinion, is the sweetest cat that has ever existed.
