At age 12, I knew that I wanted to be a pediatrician, but it took me many years to understand why. The "why" is that children are simply amazing! Kids are full of joy and spirit, even when they are not feeling well. They just literally want to be kids. I love being part of the team that helps each child to achieve their best playful self!
The first 20 years of my pediatric career were dedicated to primary care. I watched children grow and guided parents through highs and lows. My goal has always been to provide exceptional care for children, as I would expect someone to care for my own. Parents and caregivers are true experts on their kids, and I enjoy working with families to develop a plan of care that is clear and comfortable.
I am thrilled to be part of the Children's Wisconsin Urgent Care team, and I am committed to providing the best and safest care. When you cannot see your own trusted primary care provider, I am here to listen carefully and to provide thoughtful, evidence-based medical care. Our shared goal is the health and safety of your child, allowing their joy and spirit to shine.
Outside of the clinic, I love reading and creative projects. I enjoy time with my husband and dog. I would love to spend more time with my two teenagers, but they no longer want mom all the time.
