About
Dr. Drendel is a board certified pediatrician, and a fellowship trained pediatric emergency medicine specialist. She has a special interest in managing injury-related pain, as well as the resuscitation of critically ill and injured children in the Emergency Department.
Dr. Drendel is interested in research to improve the treatment of pain for children after they have been discharged home from the Emergency Department. She enjoys working with residents and medical students to help them learn how to optimally care for children as well as perform rigorous pediatric research. Dr. Drendel is a strong advocate for patients, and works with the child's pediatrician and parents to provide the best and most informed care possible.
