About
As a school-based licensed mental health therapist, I help children improve their mental health at school. I work closely with school staff, families and caregivers to address mental health needs in the educational setting. I primarily work with students who face barriers to accessing therapy in the community and need support within the school environment.
I use a person-centered, strengths-based approach and incorporate evidence-based practices, including mindfulness-based CBT. Building strong relationships with students is at the heart of my work. I also use play- and art-supported therapy techniques to help students build coping skills, strengthen self-esteem and engage in the therapeutic process in meaningful ways.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors, whether I'm kayaking, swimming, hiking, rock hunting or simply relaxing outside. I have always loved music and the performing arts, and I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music and attending theater productions. Growing up, I participated in choir, band and orchestra. I also love to travel and enjoy experiencing new places, cultures and foods.

Ratings and Reviews
Why doesn't this provider have ratings?
At Children's, you can expect the very best care and service from all our providers — but not all will have ratings or reviews displayed online, for a few possible reasons.
The provider may:
- Not have received the minimum number of reviews (to ensure accuracy, we require a minimum of 30 patient surveys before we develop each provider's rating)
- Care for patients only as part of a team
- Not see Children's Wisconsin patients
