Leanna graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Psychology, followed by a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in upper extremity rehabilitation (shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand) and earned her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2017. Her knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and child development guides her age-appropriate evaluations and evidence-based interventions, with the goal of helping children achieve their highest level of function. Specific conditions she treats include congenital anomalies, fractures, dislocations, complex trauma, soft tissue injuries, wounds, scars, tendon injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, amputations, and arthritis. She also specializes in custom orthotic fabrication and serial casting.
