About
Sarah Dressler is a nationally certified and state-licensed athletic trainer who joined Children’s Wisconsin Sports Medicine Program in 2021.
As a former volleyball and rowing athlete, Sarah fell in love with athletic training when she realized she could merge her interest in the medical field with her own passion for athletic participation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Chapman University in 2014, after which she spent several years working as a high school and collegiate athletic trainer. In 2019 she earned her Master’s degree in Human Physiology and Athletic training from the University of Oregon, where she served as an educator and as the athletic trainer for men’s and women’s tennis. Sarah completed her Master’s thesis on the effects of mental fatigue on motor performance. Following this, she worked as a high school teacher and athletic trainer prior to completing her physician practice athletic training residency at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2021.
When not at work, Sarah enjoys camping, hiking, cycling, trying new foods, and spending time with her fiancé Ben and their two rescue dogs.
