About
I am a nationally certified and state licensed Athletic Trainer with Children's Wisconsin's Sports Medicine Program. I am an Athletic Trainer in the outreach setting, assisting in the care of young athletes with sports-related injuries.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Valdosta State University in Georgia. Following graduation, I completed my master’s degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Physiology at the University of North Georgia. During my time there, I was a graduate assistant certified athletic trainer at Jordan Vocational High School in Columbus, GA. After working full time for the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, GA, I moved to Rochester, MN to work for the Mayo Clinic as an Outreach Athletic Trainer at Rochester Century High School.
I have five years of experience working at the high school level prior to joining Children’s, and I also currently work as a full-time Industrial Athletic Trainer with a construction company. Due to my passion for working with high school athletes, I continue my outreach coverage part-time. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, watching Florida State Football, and playing with my dog Charley.
