About
I provide care for infants, children and adolescents with acute and chronic infections that can be caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi or parasites. In addition to providing care for pediatric patients with all infectious diseases, I am the Medical Director of the Children’s HIV Program where we care for children and adolescents living with HIV and provide prevention services for infants exposed to HIV perinatally and adolescents at risk of acquiring HIV.
I strive to give my best in every patient encounter. I like to get to know my patients and what makes them unique, make sure the family understands the goals of care and how we will achieve them and provide evidence-based medicine that meets the child’s needs and those of their families. In addition to my clinical work, I also teach medical students, residents and fellows at Children’s Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
