Steps To Clean a Spacer:

Clean the spacer at least once a week.

  1. Remove the inhaler from the spacer.
  2. If possible, take the pieces of the spacer apart.
  3. Soak the spacer pieces in warm, soapy water for 10 minutes.
  4. Clean the spacer pieces with a soft cloth. Do not scrub or use a brush.
  5. Rinse the spacer with warm water to wash off any soap.
  6. Let the spacer pieces dry completely before putting them back together.
