At Children’s Wisconsin, we recognize our role and responsibility in improving community health. We are committed to investing our resources to ensure children and families receive the care, education and support they need to be healthy and well. We support the community through numerous programs and services that improve the health of children and strengthen families.
This report provides an overview of investments Children's Wisconsin makes in our programs and services in core area identified by the IRS to address community health and well-being. In 2024, Children's invested more than $189 million in community benefits. This includes providing $102 million in uncompensated care for kids covered by Medicaid and families burdened by systemic health inequities to ensure they have access to high-quality health care. Children's Wisconsin community benefit investments are especially important to ensure that all children have the opportunity to achieve positive physical, mental, dental and social health outcomes. We continue to invest in and serve our community because kids deserve the best.
