Children's and the community

Supporting families where they live, learn, work, and play

At Children's Wisconsin, we want our state's kids to be the healthiest in the nation.

Most children spend very little time interacting with doctors, nurses, or other health care professionals. To make a significant impact on children's overall health, we reach out to families beyond our hospital and clinic walls.

We take a multi-faceted approach to reaching Wisconsin's children in the communities where they live, learn, and play – whether that be through child advocacy, child and family counseling, foster care and adoption services, better access to primary care, or initiatives focused on family support and preservation.

We know your family's health is important to you. And, we hope you'll take advantage of the resources we've developed to help you ensure your children are as safe and healthy as they can be.

Our efforts also include work to improve the quality of care available to children and address the issues with the greatest impact on the health of the kids in our community. Visit our page about how we support healthy kids and healthy communities.
