Alert: Call 911 if:

This is the first time giving this medicine to your child.
Your child’s seizure continues 5 minutes after the dose.

Talk to your pharmacist for details on how to give your child’s specific medicine.

How to give the rescue medicine in the nose:

1. Take the medicine pack out of the box.

2. Peel back the tab and carefully take out the nasal spray device.

3. Put your thumb gently on the bottom plunger. Put your index and middle fingers on the each side of the nozzle. Do not press the plunger.

4. Give the dose:

Put the tip of nozzle into one nostril until your index and middle fingers touch the bottom of the nose.
Press the plunger firmly in one upward motion.
Remove the nozzle after giving the dose.
Throw away after use.
If your child’s dose requires using 2 nasal devices, repeat steps 2 to 4 using the second device in the other nostril.
