Milwaukee hospital food options

For your child

Children's Wisconsin has free room service for patients. There is no charge for patient food. Hours are 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. The order will be delivered to the room within 45 minutes.

Ways to order room service

• Look at the room service menus. Then call (414) 266-6336 to place your order.
• Order food with the At Your Request® app on the bedside iPad. Learn how to activate the At Your Request app.
• Parents may leave a message between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. to order their child's meals for the following day.

Some food items may not be allowed if a doctor has limited your child's diet.

Check with your child's nurse before you give them any food or drink. If you have questions about your child's meals, ask to see a dietitian. We do not send food trays to patient rooms without an order.

For parents

Children's offers a meal program for parents or caregivers who can't leave their child's room. Parents can buy room service meal tickets at Children's retail food locations and the Gift Shop. Tickets can be used to buy snacks and meals from room service. Tickets are non-refundable.

Cafeteria

Located on the lower level of the hospital and always open.

The Cafeteria offers a wide variety of offerings to choose from including made-to-order items, as well as pre-made sandwiches, salads, and other grab-and-go options. In order to accommodate daily cleanings of our dining facilities, it’s important to note that made-to-order options only are unavailable from 4-6 a.m., 10-11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. daily. Grab-and-go options and snacks are still available during these times.

Curbside

Curbside is a take-out dining option, available for either pick-up or delivery. To order, please visit our curbside ordering menu. Create an account and follow the prompts for Curbside ordering. Please note that substitutions and modifications are not allowed. Please work within the menu items as listed or in the case of “create your own,” choose from the options provided.
