Children’s Wisconsin has joined health care organizations and associations across Wisconsin in issuing a joint statement affirming that routine childhood immunization, as outlined by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), remains the standard of care for their pediatric patients.

The joint statement highlights that childhood vaccination recommendations are grounded in rigorous scientific review, informed by disease trends and designed to support equitable access to preventive care.

Participating organizations also reaffirmed their commitment to:

• Recommend routine childhood vaccines according to the AAP schedule
