Grief and bereavement resources

We understand how painful and difficult it can be to lose a child. That's why Children's Wisconsin offers programs to help patients and families cope with the unthinkable.

Bereavement Program

A variety of services are available to bereaved families to facilitate and support healthy grieving. Learn more about our Bereavement Program.

Infant Death Center

The Infant Death Center offers support for anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of an infant up to one year of age. The program is administered through Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin, and works with other professionals in outreach, education and other programs to ensure that grieving families are provided the support and resources they need.

Spiritual care

We understand that a visit to the hospital can be very stressful for families. Our experienced spiritual care staff offers guidance in all faiths, as well as emotional support to your child, to you as a parent, and to other members of your family who are affected by your child's illness.
