Poison help at your fingertips

Mr Yuk

During a poison emergency, immediate access to care recommendations is critical.

A resource for callers of all ages

Wisconsin Poison Center is a valuable statewide resource that provides free poison information for children and adults. Calls come in to the center from individuals and health care professionals seeking information on the best treatment. Our staff makes sure people who have been poisoned are safe and get the follow-up care they need. The center also provides information about reducing poison risks.

Children's Wisconsin runs the center, in part through support from hospitals and health care facilities across the state. The center helps reduce health care costs by ensuring individuals who are poisoned receive the most appropriate care.
