About
I went into pediatrics because kids are resilient, fun to work with, and a reminder to not take life too seriously. Working with pediatric patients allows me to see them from infancy through adolescence while using preventative care to help them become their healthiest and most successful selves. I love talking to patients and their families while using shared decision making so everyone gets the best care. As their doctor, I’m here to help medically, psychosocially, or even what to wear to prom. It’s truly an honor to be able to take care of families!
About me: I’m originally from South Carolina and moved to Wisconsin for residency and have stuck around America’s Dairyland. I enjoy running, reading, playing tennis, and baking. My partner and I also love traveling and skiing.

We love Dr. Fields!! We moved to IL and still make the drive back to WI to see Dr. Fields!
Dr. Fields was outstanding. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to our concerns while making us feel supported and confident. We shared that our goal is to exclusively breastfeed, and he was determined to do everything he could to help us succeed. He recommended that we meet with Stephanie, the lactation consultant, and she was able to see us right away. Her guidance was incredibly helpful, and we're so grateful that Dr. Fields took the initiative to connect us with that resource. We left feeling encouraged, confident, and very well cared for. We would absolutely recommend Dr. Fields to other families.
