The Children’s Wisconsin Koss Cochlear Implant Program helps children who have cochlear implants and children who might get one in the future. Our services include:
- Checking if your child should get an implant
- Placing the cochlear implant in surgery
- Setting up and adjusting the device
- Helping your child learn to listen and understand sounds
- Testing and improving speech and language skills
- Working with schools and local service providers
- Seeing how well a child communicates after getting the implant
- Supporting parents and families through group meetings
