Ever since I was young, I knew that I wanted to be a pediatrician. I love that it is an enjoyable and rewarding profession that encompasses a unique broad spectrum of medicine: everything from monitoring a newborn baby’s growth to removing the infamous bead or other foreign object from a toddler’s nose to ensuring that a young adolescent is adapting to his or her changing body. I enjoy my days with patients, listening to their concerns and creating bonds with families that will last for years to come.

A little about myself: I grew up in Brookfield, where I actually met my future husband on the first day of kindergarten! I knew that I wanted to become a Badger, and so after graduating from Brookfield Central High School, I attended University of Wisconsin-Madison for my bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. I later returned to the Milwaukee area to study medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed my pediatric residency at Children’s Wisconsin. I have also taken classes to become a certified lactation consultant.

My husband and I now live in Brookfield and enjoy time with our two sons. You might see us at Wirth Park either swimming at the pool in the summer or sledding down the hill in the winter snow.

Being a wife and mom, I bring not only academic knowledge to my patients but also personal trials and insight. I believe having a close physician-patient relationship is critical for complete medical care. I am an advocate for patients, helping control chronic health conditions and maintain healthy lifestyles. Establishing good health habits is the foundation of a long, prosperous life. Starting with a newborn’s first visit, I will build that foundation together with families and create the best individualized care for each patient. I look forward to the opportunity to a part of your family’s health care.

We were very pleased with The ability to get in for a same day appointment, and although we were not with our usual provider, we were very pleased with the doctor that we did see.

Dr Lisa and the staff at Westbrook are the best. Also I feel bad I didn't catch the nurses name. She was SO wonderful with my kids. Such great staff.

I was not called prior to administration of vaccines. One of which I would not have approved of.

The inability to speak directly with the clinic is incredibly frustrating. We love our pediatrician and the staff there but the changes made to calling either to speak to a nurse or discuss an appointment have us questioning if we can stay long term. The clinic called me to see if I could come 15 min early for our appointment. I was unable to take the call and when I called back I was routed through central scheduling for a long game of telephone. He was confused about the information I was trying to relay. After explaining that I would do my best to arrive early but I DID NOT want my appointment time changed, he did so any way. I got new appointment notifications including texts asking me to re-do the eCheckin process when I already had. I miss the days when we could speak directly to the receptionist and the nurse with questions. When friends and family ask us about our experience with children's it's the one huge frustration we have and one we prepare them for if they are having a baby or considering switching pediatricians.

Everyone here is super friendly. It goes very quickly. We're barely in the waiting room when we come. And we love coming there. We've been coming since my 15-year-old was 5 years old.

The wait time was a bit long. Multiple people checked in after I did but were taken back first. I was taken back 20 minutes after my check in time and my appointment ended up being longer than I anticipated at about 1 hour or so. But the care and the work of the team was great, just overall appointment was long.
