Dr. Pelz earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin (Phi Beta Kappa) and his M.D. from the University of Tennessee (Alpha Omega Alpha) where he received the Alumni Achievement Award for Clinical Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training at Lurie Children's Wisconsin (formerly Children's Memorial Hospital). He then went on to complete his fellowship training at Lurie Children's Wisconsin and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

As a board certified allergist-immunologist, Dr. Pelz is passionate about providing expert care to those who suffer from allergic and immunologic diseases. Dr. Pelz is deeply committed to the health and well-being of his patients. He believes in developing a patient-centered approach to medical care that is rooted in evidence-based medicine and a strong physician-patient relationship. He considers himself to be an advocate for his patients and their families and always strives to provide compassionate and quality care.

Dr. Pelz is an amazing doctor. He is very patient. He explains things very well so that you understand them. He goes above and beyond to ease your concerns or your fears or your worries. He explains things very well. He went above and beyond with our daughter and got her in sooner than what they originally thought they could get us in. He took a lot of time with us and went over everything. I didn't feel rushed and he made my daughter feel very comfortable and not afraid. We love him and think he's top-notch.

I just wanted to compliment Dr. Pelz, I had a lot of questions and he was super patient and really took time to explain everything to me in a really in-depth way and it was just a really great visit overall and I really appreciated how much care and attention he took and also his bedside manner is excellent. So, I just wanted to share that.

Even though I was an adult in a peds setting I still felt comfortable. I was not rushed. I also appreciated being asked if I needed/wanted my flu shot...as a retired peds RN who also worked in public health I loved seeing the advocacy! Keep up the great work!

The nurse techs, the people who bring me back to the room and were working with me were very, very, very nice. They made me and my family feel very welcome and made the process enjoyable. The whole team actually did. I really appreciate it.

Dr. Pelz is great! Very thorough and caring. MA was not very welcoming, did not seem happy, doesn't seem to enjoy her job. Also, the stand in the waiting area with masks and tissues was out of supplies.

Dr Pelz always goes above and beyond for my child. I am more then grateful to have him as my sons physician for so many years. He has brought him along way with his asthma and allergies and also knows us by name

The doctor is amazing. He's sad and listened to my 8-year-old daughter's stories and was very patient. Very kind explained everything in detail and made sure that if I had any questions he was able to answer all of them. A very gentle doctor and my daughter adapted to him very well. Only thing I could say is the valet parking was pretty backed up but even that went pretty quick and the staff was super friendly in every department.

We waited in the room for 30 minutes. No one ever came by to explain the wait time. I honestly thought we were forgotten about, maybe we were. I had to find someone in the hall to see if we were going to be seen. After almost 40 minutes of waiting we were seen. There was no apology for the wait time. We almost left without being seen.

Hi, so staff was very nice and very kind, very helpful. I appreciated that, very efficient. And the doctor was wonderful. I really connected well with him. He truly understood what I was going for, didn't try to push anything unnecessarily, listened to what my concerns were, and together we made a plan. And that spoke volumes to me. So thank you very much to everybody.

We appreciate that Dr. Pelz always gives our child all the time needed. I have no complaint if he enters the room later than our scheduled appointment. We always feel like our child is his priority during our visits with him.

Dr Pelz is incredible doctor! He listened thoroughly to every single one of my concerns. He made sure that all of my questions were answered. He was patient, kind And explained my condition/plan of treatment extremely well! I highly recommend him/his staff! Truly outstanding! Also, I had follow-up questions after the visit that I sent in my chart. He was In responding to my messages in an extremely timely manner
