Services

As a specialist in pediatrics, I offer expertise in every dimension of children's health and am concerned with my patients' physical as well as social and emotional development. I am a kind and caring physician who takes time to establish solid relationships with my patients and their parents. As a mother, I offer parents an empathetic ear and motivation to help them keep their children happy, safe and healthy.

Prior to joining the team at Southwest Pediatrics, I served as an urgent care doctor at Children's Wisconsin.
I was born and raised in Chicago, and I now enjoy living in Pewaukee with my husband and four children. My personal interests include tennis, step aerobics, sailing and water skiing.

The nurse and doctor made sure they understood our daughter's concerns and answered all of her questions. The doctor provided a clear immediate and future care plan and explained everything clearly and compassionately.

The receptionist who checked us in definitely made it seem as though she did not want to be there. Our appointment was at 4:45 and I could tell by her demeanor that she was ready to go home.

My husband was running late to the appointment and the provider still agreed to see my child for his health check, which was very sweet and the visit was perfect.

Dr Young and the resident were very sensitive to my child's concerns during the appointment. And the immediate follow up on lab results the next day to ease her fears.

The provider, Dr. Patti-Marie Young, was wonderful. Very easy to talk to. Happy and willing to answer any questions. She had a lot of information that she openly shared with us. And it was a really, really great experience and I enjoyed coming to her. So, wonderful physician. Thank you.

I'm less and less impressed with the care being given by Dr Young. Her attention to detail seems to be lacking when giving physical checks. When trying to figure out the cause of my child's issue I asked for labs to be drawn which were dismissed. Other labs were being drawn so I don't see the issue of doing more to make sure my child can heal and not have to wait longer.

We were pleased with Patti Marie Young's service and care. She did a good job and took her time with my child. And I appreciate it very much. And the nurse practitioner called with guidelines on what I should be doing to treat my child at home. And she talked with me for 20 minutes where she took her time and it was very thorough. So I appreciate that very much. Thank you.

Dr. Young is an exceptionally excellent doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. She is extremely compassionate and caring. She makes you feel like she is a trusted person in your life, who is invested in your family as much as you are. When it comes to healthcare she is our person!
