Children's Wisconsin is in all major northeast Wisconsin health plans.
Children's specialty outpatient clinics provide local care for kids from birth to young adulthood and offer a convenient, close-to-home treatment option for families who don't live near Children's Wisconsin-Milwaukee Hospital.
Adult congenital heart disease
We offer one of the few adult congenital heart disease programs in the country in conjunction with Children's Herma Heart Institute, Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. The program treats the increasing number of people born with heart conditions who are living into adulthood.
Directed by the Fox Valley's only on site pediatric cardiologist, this program offers treatment and diagnosis for infants, children and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. We work with the Herma Heart Institute and the Fetal Concerns Center of Wisconsin at Children's Wisconsin-Milwaukee Hospital to provide seamless care with experienced pediatric cardiologists. We also offer our Fetal Heart Program, where we use fetal echocardiography to assess heart structure, rhythm and function of the unborn child to assess for congenital heart disease or other abnormalities.
We offer diagnosis and treatment for the following:
- Congenital disease
- Heart murmurs
- Chest pain
- Kawasaki disease
- Cardiology sport physicals by referral
- Pulmonary hypertension
Our gastroenterology (GI) specialists treat both simple and complex GI problems, close to home. At the first clinic visit, your child will be seen by a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist and a nurse who specializes in gastroenterology care. We will determine what, if any, tests need to be done. A plan of care will be outlined and teaching provided.
