The Emergency Department is for more serious illnesses and injuries. Below is a general guide to help you determine whether to seek urgent care or emergency care. You can also read our blog or use our symptom checker to help decide how to help your child.
For emergencies, please call 9-1-1 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
Urgent care does not provide ultrasounds, CT scans or MRI studies. If your child needs one of these they will be transferred to our emergency department.
Children's Wisconsin's urgent care does not provide preventive care services like physicals or vaccines. Your child's primary care doctor can provide these services.
Our New Berlin Clinic offers urgent care for babies, children and teenagers. Urgent care is for needs that can’t wait, including things like ear aches, fevers, sore throats, rashes and minor injuries. Our New Berlin Clinic offers urgent care in the evenings and on weekends. X-rays are available at this location, along with limited hours for lab services.
Our pediatricians provide primary care at this location which includes check ups, sick visits and vaccinations.
Our specialists are experts who treat kids at this location with specific conditions.
Four individuals of any age can be with a patient or client in our Primary Care, Urgent Care, Specialty Care, imaging, outpatient laboratories, therapies and community services areas.
