Lysosomal Storage Diseases (LSD) Program
The Lysomal Storage Diseases (LSD) Program at Children’s Wisconsin follows about 100 children and adults with different types of LSDs. Our team of specialists evaluates and treats each patient, providing the compassionate, individualized care you’d expect from a top hospital.
Our team is made up of health care providers from variety of specialties, including:
- Medical geneticists
- Cardiologists
- Nurse practitioners
- Genetic counselors
Our specialists work together to determine the most effective care and treatment plan for each patient we see.

Our location
The LSD program is located in the Genetics Center on level 1 of the Curative Care Network building, which is across the parking lot from Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Enter the north door (which faces the Children's Wisconsin parking structure), and take the elevator to level 1.
Parking: You can find free parking in the Children's Wisconsin visitor lot and parking structure. A voucher for free parking is available in the Metabolic Clinic.
