Postgraduate year one (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency Program application process
Interested candidates should register for the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists (ASHP) National Matching Program and with the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS).
The following application materials should be submitted to PhORCAS by January 1.
Standard requirements for an application in PhORCAS includes:
- Academic history
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal Statement/Letter of intent
- Extracurricular activities
The following are Children's Wisconsin special requirements and should be uploaded into PhORCAS along with the above standard requirements:
- Three projects that the applicant completed within the last year (pediatric focus preferred)
Upon submission of application materials via PhORCAS, the Children's pharmacy residency council will review all applications. Individual candidates will be selected for on-site interviews at Children's in January and February.
