About
As a specialist in pediatrics, I offer expertise in every dimension of children's health and am concerned with my patients' physical as well as social and emotional development. I am a kind and caring physician who takes time to establish solid relationships with my patients and their parents. As a mother, I offer parents an empathetic ear and motivation to help them keep their children happy, safe and healthy.
Prior to joining the team at Southwest Pediatrics, I served as an urgent care doctor at Children's Wisconsin.
I was born and raised in Chicago, and I now enjoy living in Pewaukee with my husband and four children. My personal interests include tennis, step aerobics, sailing and water skiing.

Have enjoyed our last visits but this time felt things were left out. I am a parent who knows how to read blood work and was told "everything looks good" but after getting home and seeing the test results, I do believe the blood work should have been gone over. If a child has a high level of something specific or is teetering the boarder line, parent should be made aware.
Dr. Young is great with all ages of kids, including my teenagers
Was running behind and had very strong perfume that filled the room. Did not seem to like me questioning her recommendation. I did not see my usual provider so I may just not be used to her demeanor. She was overall nice.
