Not accepting new patients
I am very excited to return to southeast Wisconsin to practice pediatric medicine. I grew up in the Milwaukee area and was fortunate to stay in Wisconsin to attend Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Early in medical school I had the opportunity to learn the rewards of pediatric medicine. Kids are fun - they say and do things that make us laugh, but also help us remember our own good times growing up. However, children also go through illnesses and setbacks - it gives me great satisfaction being able to help them and their families get through these tough times.
I believe in empowering children and parents with knowledge, so that growing up and parenting can be as healthy and as enjoyable an experience as possible. I also feel that parents and children should be involved in decisions about their care - questions are encouraged! Pediatric medicine is constantly evolving, requiring that we as providers continue to update our knowledge base and look for ways to improve care for our patients. Preventative medicine, ear/nose/throat infections, and management of ADD/ADHD are specific areas of personal interest, but I find many areas of pediatric medicine intriguing. I am luck to work in an environment that values not only excellence and continued learning, but also best outcomes for all children.
Away from work, I am an avid sports fan - basketball, football, golf, and baseball are my favorite spectator sports. When I'm not rooting for state sports teams, I enjoy golfing, fishing, and watching movies.
