Overview
Services
Dr. Craig’s highest priority is to provide the best available general and thoracic surgical care for the children of Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest. In addition to a robust general surgical practice, he has a special interest in caring for children with cancer, and works closely with the oncology team at Children’s Wisconsin on a daily basis. Whether during evaluation of these complex tumors, in the operating room, or after surgery, Dr. Craig and the entire team are constantly working to improve the care for children with cancer. He is an active member in the Pediatric Surgical Oncology Research Collaborative and Children’s Oncology Group, helping to design and conduct research studies that will improve pediatric surgical oncology care. In addition, he runs a research laboratory on campus that studies the impact of surgery on the ability of the immune system to fight cancer. Every day in the clinic and operating room, Dr. Craig brings this well-rounded expertise to work for each child who is suffering from these devastating diseases.
