Services
Dr. Gudausky is a board certified pediatric cardiologist and internist. He is a pediatric interventional cardiologist and devotes a significant amount of his time to performing diagnostic and therapeutic catheter based procedures on infants, children and adults with congenital heart disease. He has a special interest in managing patients with atrial sepatal defects, aortic valve stenosis, pulmonary valve stenosis and coarctation of the aorta. In addition, he cares for a number of children who have developed cardiomyopathy following treatment for childhood cancer and is actively pursuing research projects to better diagnose and treat these survivors of childhood cancer. Dr. Gudausky also cares for infants, children and adolescents with general pediatric cardiology problems including the evaluation and treatment of heart murmurs, chest pain and syncope.
Dr. Gudausky is interested in research to better diagnose and treat chemotherapy related cardiomyopathy, as well as in improving the catheter based treatment of infants, children and adults with congenital heart disease. Dr. Gudausky is a strong advocate for patients and families, and works with the child's pediatrician and parents to provide the best and most informed care possible.
