About
Dr. Henningfeld feels it is both an honor and a privilege to work with children with chronic respiratory illnesses and their families. She greatly enjoys caring for general pulmonary patients and has developed a passion for the care of children who require tracheostomy and home ventilation. She believes that open communication between the child, parents and general pediatrician is the key to a successful partnership between a doctor and patient.
Dr. Henningfeld was born and raised in Milwaukee, earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her MD from Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship at Children’s Wisconsin.

Ratings & Reviews
Why doesn't this provider have ratings?
At Children's, you can expect the very best care and service from all our providers — but not all will have ratings or reviews displayed online, for a few possible reasons.
The provider may:
- Not have received the minimum number of reviews (to ensure accuracy, we require a minimum of 30 patient surveys before we develop each provider's rating)
- Care for patients only as part of a team
- Not see Children's Wisconsin patients
