Overview
Services
I am a neonatologist who specializes in the care of critically-ill newborns, including term and preterm infants as well as those born with congenital birth defects. I work closely with physicians, nurses, and other support staff leaders at Children’s Wisconsin to provide compassionate, family-centered care for the babies and families in the NICU. As a physician-scientist, I have a special interest in basic science research exploring the molecular mechanisms contributing to the pathogenesis of Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN), a severe respiratory condition that affects both term and preterm infants.
Areas of Interest
- Persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn
- Chronic lung disease
