Services
Throughout my 20+ year professional career I have worked with children, adolescents and families in various settings. I have significant experience with adoption and foster care, trauma, and various emotional and behavioral needs. To me, the therapeutic relationship is key and I value developing trusting, positive relationships with youth and families to assist in achieving the change they are working toward. I also work from a strength-based, systemic approach and see my role as collaborating with the individual and family to accomplish to goals they have set. Everyone has strengths and abilities and my role is to help empower youth and families to utilize those strengths and abilities, as well as incorporate new strategies that will assist them in being their best. I am also a certified adoption competent therapist.
