Accepting new patients

Juvenile Idiopathic arthritis is Dr. Olson’s primary area of interest and she has been involved with several multi-center studies and collaboration that have including participating in studies regarding the use of biologic agents, gene expression as well as quality improvement efforts for JIA. Because the all of the pediatric rheumatology conditions are relatively uncommon, advances in the field result from collaboration in the specialty. The advancements in pediatric rheumatology care and practice have been large and have greatly improved the well-being of children with JIA. She remains interested in identifying optimal ways to provide care to patients with JIA and other rheumatic diseases. Working with families as partners is important in the delivery of care.
