Nicole M Iverson, MA, LMFT
Nikki Iverson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, and families. She has 8 years of experience working in a variety of treatment settings including residential, in-home, and outpatient. She approaches care from a Family Systems perspective and pulls from several modalities that includes Cognitive and Behavioral therapies, Family Systems, as well as Solution Focused therapy in her work with youth and families.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families who present with histories of trauma and abuse, mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), self-harm/suicide ideation, attachment disruptions, and many other areas that impact individual and family well-being. Nikki has extensive experience treating trauma and is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).
Nikki is passionate about working alongside her clients and helping them make efforts to improve their mental, emotional and behavioral health. She meets clients where they are at and believes each individual is the expert on themselves. She strives to provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages engagement and facilitates progress toward treatment goals. She believes it is important to collaborate with parents, other caregivers, and team members to provide the best possible care and promote positive change for children and teens.
Nikki also provides School Based Mental Health Counseling in a variety of contracted schools in the Eau Claire School District.
