Shanna Sullivan, LCSW

Children’s Wisconsin since 2008

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist, I guide families in discovering ways to play together to create healing. I enjoy working with children ages two to eighteen, parents of all ages, and non-traditional families. I believe my role as a therapist is to support children and families in finding their inner strength, enjoy one another, and remember how to communicate with love.

My specialty is providing several evidenced based treatments to support children and families in reclaiming their lives after experiencing traumatic events, including very young children. As an adoption competent therapist, I enjoy helping adoptive families strengthen their bond and attachment and find ways to honor their individual grief and loss experience and growth. My favorite part about being a therapist is when parents can confidently say they are the experts for their family and have everything they need to grow and learn together.
