Rachel graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Ohio University in 2013. Following her undergraduate degree, Rachel graduated with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College (now known as Milligan University) in 2015. She has experience working with pediatric to geriatric populations, this includes in school settings, outpatient settings, and in skilled nursing facilities. Yet, Rachel has found her passion is in outpatient pediatric care. This allows her to use the child’s interests to meet age appropriate skills that are family and patient centered. She has treated patients of all ages and varying diagnoses, but frequently works with children with developmental delays, sensory integration difficulties, fine motor deficits, visual motor deficits, decreased hand and upper extremity strength, upper limb coordination difficulties, and other neuromuscular and genetic developmental disorders.
