Overview

Dr. Lincoln is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in the field of cardiac valve biology. She holds three major awards from the NIH that focus on cardiac valvular development and disease, and her enthusiasm to serve as a collaborative partner is evident through her role as co-investigator on two other major NIH awards. Dr. Lincoln is committed to the professional development of her colleagues and mentees. This dedication is evident through her previous leadership roles in faculty development, as well as her long list of successful mentees. This list includes junior faculty, postdoctoral and clinical fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students and medical students. Many of these mentees have successfully earned NIH and American Heart Association Awards under her guidance, as well as other honors.
