Children are amazing and wonderful to be around; every day I get to smile and laugh with my patients. As I pediatrician, I value my role in developing a strong relationship with my patients and their families. I am especially interested in preventive medicine, nutrition and exercise, and transition of care. It's a privilege to be a pediatrician and I'm lucky to be able to wake up every day and love what I do. When I'm not at the office, you may find me exploring Milwaukee with my husband, Mark.

I liked so much the form that they attended me in reception since when I arrived very kind. And also the doctor I liked that she gave me much information and listened to all the questions I had. I liked to much going to _____.

The nurse was upbeat, informative, very engaged. She worked so well with my daughter and I. She knows this field very well. Dr. Ellen Shen was wonderful! She was very engaging to my daughter and I. She answered all of the questions I asked, gave great information on how my daughter was doing/what to look out for. She obviously is an expert and a great person. I left feeling more confident with my daughters health. I would love to get the chance to have her as our permanent doctor (she is currently filled- I can understand why)This nurse and doctor team is an asset to CHW. Thank you!

As always exceptional care from Dr Shen and everyone from North Shore Peds. She always listens to my concerns and helps put my mind at ease. I trust and appreciate all her experience and knowledge and am so grateful to have her care for my kids.

I adore coming to North Shore Pediatrics and we always receive the best care. Dr. Shen and her MA Kristine was so amazing. Even though she was running behind, her staff kept us informed.

I have three children who are different ages and I just really appreciated how well Dr. Shen and all of the staff handled their various ages, keeping them engaged and involved in the appointment. They were just all really responsive to my concerns.

Dr. Shen did not take the time to listen to me or my concerns or even consider my views. Very unfortunate and will be looking for another doctor who is open and willing to work with myself and my child.

My 3yr old daughter was made super comfortable during her visit. She loved her check up was talking about Dr Shen all day. Couldn't recommend a better pediatrician or team.

Dr. Shen is number 1 for pediatric care of my pre-teen and teen!! Professional and caring. Even during a power outage she was calm and professional!!

Love Ellen Shen. She does an amazing job of meeting you where you're at without judgement. She listens to listen and always takes your concerns seriously . She never makes you feel silly for asking a question or voicing a fear. By far the most amazing doctor we have had the privilege to meet.

We love Dr. Shen and her team at North Shore. Dr. Shen always listens to our concerns and answers all of our questions. My son has been fearful of the doctor and she made this appt as smooth as possible and made him feel so comfortable. Best appt yet!

We love Dr Shen and her nurse Jeana. Both are very compassionate with families. Jeana is very sweet and good at trying to make kids as comfortable as possible while also being thorough. We appreciate both her and Shen. Our daughter ended up testing positive for Covid for the first time and we were so grateful to be seen the same day so that we could quarantine her and help her to start feeling better after knowing what she was ill with.

I very much appreciated that I was able to get my child in same day for an issue that was going on. That hasn't happened in a while. However, it took me 45 minutes on the phone to get through. But they fit me in the same day, which is a huge improvement from other times. Thank you.
