Dr. Tracey Strombeck earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2004. She furthered her studies at the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008 with her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Strombeck completed a post-doctoral residency in pediatric optometry and binocular vision at the University of California-Berkeley School of Optometry in 2009 and has a special interest in visual therapy. Dr. Strombeck enjoys working with both children and adults and says it is the personal interaction with patients that drew her to the profession of optometry. Outside of work, Dr. Strombeck enjoys playing racquetball, golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Strombeck is available to see patients of all ages for routing exams and medical evaluation and treatment. She is committed to providing the highest quality care and to exceeding the patient’s expectation at every visit.

We had great service there. My little one was anxious going in and came out smiling and laughing. That is huge for her. Everyone is very kind and they even knew the songs to sing to make things calmer.

The provider did not give any communication to me as I requested. My only information of what is going on with my child is from my chart. I will be looking for a different provider for my child moving forward.

I really liked everything. I really like that the staff, even though they don't speak Spanish, are very kind to you and very respectful of everyone. They provided an interpreter so I could understand everything clearly in Spanish. I am very grateful for them. I hope they never take them away. Thank you very much.

We had a great experience at the Mequon location. The location itself felt very welcoming and the staff was absolutely wonderful! The tech was so kind and interacted with our son in such a fun way which he clearly enjoyed. We will definitely be back to this location for future visits.

I liked the care very well and I recommend it, I would recommend it, my friends and family because they were very good people to my son and even though we are not from this country to go, the doors were not closed to us, but they were open to the public and above all the care to my son.

Eye clinic is very time consuming. Had 3 different people measuring and testing. I understood the importance of each role but almost seems redundant. Everyone was very friendly, proficient and explained things well!! First person(forgot her name) was so sweet!!

From the moment we walked through the door, from the welcome desk to the initial text that saw my daughter to Dr. Strombeck herself, everyone is just so unbelievably amazing and kind and compassionate. And they don't make you feel like if you're the parent that worries too much that you are worrying too much or anything like that. It's just a great experience all around and we look forward to our appointments there.

Thank you to the entire team! My child has a disability and it can be a lot to handle as a parent! Dad and I would like to recognize Isabella from the child life support team! She was amazing at helping soothe and comfort my child during a two hour long exam! Dr. Strombeck was vey nice and informative as well! Thank you also to the lady who placed the drops in my child's eye for the exam! He was really giving her a workout for the day! :)

I cannot even begin to describe how great our experience was. Everyone from check in to check out was amazing. The technician and doctor were extremely thorough. Dr. Strombeck even sang to our 1.5 year old to calm her during her appointment. We had been initially referred to a local optometrist but I am so glad we went with Children's.

We felt a bit rushed by the doctor. There was not really any pleasantries, just straight to the exam. It felt like we were just another person in line. I didn't really have much time to process and think of questions I had, so I will have to send a message about questions I've come up with. The woman who did the initial assessments was wonderful.

We waited 50 minutes after check in to be seen. This was after I inquired that we had waited so long. They had to call the provider to see how much longer we would be seen. I picked up my child ten minutes late from school. They have to understand that moms are on a Time limit and waiting 50 minutes to be seen is unacceptable.

From the front desk check in, to the care given by our Fellow and Dr. Strombeck, we are extremely pleased with our visit. We came into this appointment nervous for an unfortunate outcome. Dr. Strombeck and her Fellow Julie (I believe that was her name) were very informative and kind. They treated my little one gently yet thoroughly. Thank you all for making this visit a pleasant one.

There was a very bad smell in the bathrooms!! Also due to remodeling it was very difficult and complicated to find the clinic.
