I absolutely love being a pediatrician, and consider it a great honor. I enjoy taking care of children of all ages. As your pediatrician, I will work with you to coordinate the best possible care for your children. My goal is to focus on preventive health care (such as well-child checks, healthy eating, physical activity, routine screening) in order to keep your children as healthy as possible. But when an illness arises, I will be here to help support you, as a parent, as you make medical decisions for your children.

In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, spending time outdoors, gardening, helping out in the community, and watching my MSU Spartans.

We love Dr. Szafir and the team at the Delafield clinic! Dr. Szafir does a great job of making us feel comfortable. She takes the time to explain things and listen to us. She is the best, and her MA is awesome!

We love Dr. Szafir! She is so good with my boys even when they are scared to be at the doctors. She is kind and very efficient which is important. If you want a really good PMD then go see her. She helped us out very fast when our toddler had pink eye and was timely and very caring.

Our MA was very kind and explained all steps of the visit. She was very caring and patient with our daughter. Always a great visit with Dr. Szafir who is willing to answer my list of questions and provides reassurance. Easy process when leaving to schedule the next appointment. Thanks everyone!

I was able to get a same-day appointment when I called which was wonderful. Dr. Szafir listened to my concerns and was so gentle and kind with my child. She discussed possible causes of the issue and was going to reach out to a specialty clinic for an e-consult for their recommendations. I appreciate the extra mile she goes for the children!

Dr. Szafir was awesome, as always, but we were really blown away by the medical assistant. She was so great at explaining what she was doing and why. The little things are so important, especially with younger kids. One little thing I noticed, was talking through the eye chart before starting the exam, so they could agree on what the shapes were called. Such a small detail, but impacts the exam.

Dr. Zafir is a wonderful provider. Both of my boys see her and we wouldn't see anybody else because she's that fantastic. I trust her with my kids' care and especially with all the different questions that we have, she's always fantastic and quick to respond. We really appreciate her.

I love going to the Delafield clinic. Everyone is so friendly and on time. There is typically almost no wait and the Dr comes in to see us so quickly. I would recommend our Dr to all family and friends

We love Dr. Szafir. She's been the kids' doctor since she was born. We've always come to the clinic there in Della Field and the front desk and the providers and the nurses and everybody getting us through has always been very, very pleasant to deal with. And the fact that you guys lowered the cancellation or late time makes it so much better. So then that way everything is running on time. I don't think I've ever had to sit in the waiting room or in the patient room for very long before we got to see our doctor. Keep up the great work. Thanks.
