Dr. Thomas’s clinical emphasis in on the care of acute illness and injury in children. His professional goal is to use my sense of humor and empathy for children to minimize the stress and fear children experience with a visit to the emergency department.
Dr. Thomas’s research interests are in pediatric concussion. His main interests are in the clinical identification and management of concussion. He is looking for ways to improve and speed initial recover, decrease risk of subsequent injury, and identify patients at higher risk for post-concussive syndrome.
