I believe the best care begins with a strong relationship. Communication is at the heart of my practice. I take the time to listen, understand what matters most to each child and family, and make sure questions and concerns are truly heard. I’m highly relational in how I practice and value getting to know my patients and families over time, building the trust that allows us to work together through every stage of infancy, childhood, adolescence, and into adulthood. I see parents and caregivers as essential partners in their child’s care, and I strive to explain things clearly, involve families in decisions, and develop a plan that reflects both the best available medical evidence and the individual needs of the child. My goal is for every family to leave a visit feeling heard, respected, informed, and confident in the care we’ve chosen together.

Outside of medicine, my greatest joy is spending time with my wife, Kristi, and our three children. Much of our family life revolves around our kids and their activities. You’ll often find me at the hockey rink cheering on our boys or in the audience supporting our daughter in theater. As a parent, I appreciate firsthand the joys, challenges, and occasional chaos of raising children, and that perspective is an important part of the connection I feel with the families I have had the privilege of caring for.
