About
As a pediatric psychiatrist, I am dedicated to promoting the well-being and mental health of youth and families. Mental illness is one of the most devastating conditions that our youth and their families face. It is my privilege to walk with youth and their caregivers through the healing process. I take a holistic approach to helping youth, finding their sources of support and inner resilience, and considering medical conditions that may be affecting their mental health. My hope is that youth will not just recover, they will thrive.
When wearing my other hats, I serve as the Mental and Behavioral Health-in-Chief for Children’s Wisconsin, with the goal of advancing our clinical care, research, and training to provide the best prevention and treatment possible for pediatric mental health. As a neuroscientist, I am dedicated to improving our understanding of mental illness in youth and developing new, cutting-edge treatments through collaborative research programs.
