I want patients and families to be heard, feel seen, and work together to create a plan that makes sense and fits within your individual wants and needs. Family is the foundation of a child's life and I believe it is important to involve them in a shared-decision making approach. I want to instill a sense of trust and comfortability in the care I provide and look forward to growing a relationship throughout the years whether it is for a sick visit or well-child check.

Shawn was incredibly sensitive to the nature of my daughter's visit. She combined being so friendly, energetic and engaging with awareness for the sensitive nature of our visit. I could literally see my daughter's shoulders and facial expressions completely relax throughout our visit. My daughter was able to ask questions and really understand at the right level of what Is happening with her body. Shawn treated my daughter with such respect and prefect age appropriate discussion. From a parent perspective Shawn connected next steps really well and I left feeling like we have a plan developing that makes sense. She also connected with her colleagues to create the best path forward. I felt like she really cared and cared enough to collaborate to hear all ideas. I was really impressed. Thank you!
