About
As a pediatric psychologist, I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate the challenges that can accompany chronic medical conditions and lifestyle changes. I specialize in supporting adjustment to chronic illness, promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors, and fostering resilience and positive coping within the entire family system. My goal is to empower patients and families with practical skills that support emotional well-being, improve quality of life, and promote long-term success.
In my practice, I work with patients experiencing chronic pain related to medical conditions, anxiety, depression, and difficulties adapting to new diagnoses or ongoing health concerns. I am also trained in psychological assessment for a variety of behavioral and mental health conditions. I use evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help patients develop effective coping strategies, build confidence, and achieve meaningful, lasting change. I am passionate about health equity, advocacy, and ensuring that all children and families have access to high-quality, culturally responsive care.
I believe that compassionate, collaborative care is essential to positive outcomes. I partner closely with families and interdisciplinary medical teams to create individualized treatment plans that address each child's unique strengths, needs, and goals. Referring providers can expect a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that integrates psychological care with the broader medical treatment plan.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, baking, trying new recipes, exploring local restaurants, going to concerts and traveling.

Ratings and Reviews
Why doesn't this provider have ratings?
At Children's, you can expect the very best care and service from all our providers — but not all will have ratings or reviews displayed online, for a few possible reasons.
The provider may:
- Not have received the minimum number of reviews (to ensure accuracy, we require a minimum of 30 patient surveys before we develop each provider's rating)
- Care for patients only as part of a team
- Not see Children's Wisconsin patients
