Jena graduated from Marquette University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training and in 2020 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She completed specialized training in a Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2021, and became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Jena has had a passion for helping youth and adolescent athletes safely return to their sports and activities after injury, since experiencing a knee injury herself in high school. She enjoys challenging athletes to ensure they are prepared to return to their specific sport. She believes that injury prevention principles are highly important in athletics today, and strives to provide education and techniques to support this. Jena treats a wide variety of orthopedic and sport conditions, with her primary focus being on the lower extremity, especially ACL reconstruction, the spine, and concussion injuries.
